Shotatube Relaunched on 4th May 2024
After nearly a year since the old Shotatube came to a rather abrupt end. I decided to rebuild and relaunch Shotatube under the St.Fdel.moe domain. This was because I had lost the old shotatube domain but also for a couple other reasons the main one being management 1 domain with everything under it seemed easier than a few domains all costing money, needing managing and just being extra hassle. The other is stats simply easier to manage.
Sadly due to errors on my part and multiple IRL problems the old servers expired and the data was lost this is both annoying but also a blessing, it made it far easier just to start again with the stricter shotacon only rules (yes I gave way a bit to shota x loli and shota x woman) but overall I’m happy with the choice to not allow lol I back onto the platform (it’s of little interest to me and it attracted some rather strange people. It also attracted a lot of attention (part of the reason I took shotatube and lolitube offline was a CP complaint and while the hosts I was with where in a country that this stuff isn’t illegal in they did prefer it not be on there servers (there a big name and I understand the shit storm this stuff can bring)
Anyhow were now with new hosts who are much happier to not care (they have a reputation for it) there in the good ol’ USA which makes the servers faster for a vast majority of you and now they offer enough storage for us to grow. On top of all that without loli content stuffing up everything CPU and transcoding is less of a priority due to less videos.
